"Wow, doughboy, what a cool instrument. I've not tried playing slide before and this is perfect for a first timer like me. My two "name brand" (Martin, Gibson, Taylor, etc.) guitar playing buddies looked at it with disdain. One made a snide remark about the bridge being "nuts and bolts". You should have seen their faces when I pointed out that the tailpiece is a pancake spatula. Then they tried playing it. I've had a hard time getting it away from them ever since.
